It is the customers responsibility to request insurance by picking the insurance option on our packing form.
If your package was insured and damaged while in transit you must notify Carburetor USA at once. Make sure you keep all packing materials with the box UPS may want to inspect the package.
If a carburetor is damaged the claim will be filed for the cost of Carburetor usa to repair the carburetor, shipping and handling costs . If a carburetor is lost you should recover the replacement value amount that you requested on our packing form provided that you have enough insurance coverage for replacement.
Carburetorusa is not responsible for lost or damaged packages once they have left our premises. Please make sure you insure your package and have high enough coverage incase of loss or damage.
