Carburetors

All Carburetors go through a 11 step cleaning, coating and finishing process. Marine Carburetors go through a 12 step cleaning, coating and finishing process. All carburetors are first soaked to remove all loose dirt and grime. Then they go through a series of cooking and chemical processes that completly strip the body of the carburetor down to the bare original metal. They then go through another series of chemical processes that prep. the metal for the chromating process. After the chromating (gold color) process the carburetors are inspected, new parts installed, tested then coated. In our marine applications we use special color coatings for further corrosion protection. All Carburetors are done with care one at a time.
